The Associate Board of Esperanza Health Centers provides young and mid-level professionals the opportunity to help families that live in medically underserved communities in the southwest side of Chicago obtain quality primary care and behavioral health services. The Associate Boards objective is to promote the mission of Esperanza Health Centers by engaging other professionals in a discussion of health equality through volunteer and fundraising activities. Associate Board members also help with a number of community and advocacy initiatives such as helping expand our community garden, health fairs, and be running buddy for participants of our Girls on the Run Chapter.
Associate Board members will have the opportunity to join one of three committees and will be considered for leadership positions including;
• Special Events Chair
• Membership & Marketing Chair
• Community & Advocacy Chair
* Attend a minimum of 75% of Associate Board meetings and subcommittee meetings
