Director of Community Engagement
Lucy Flores leads Community Engagement activities including the Healthy Chicago Equity Zone project at Esperanza Health Centers. Lucy has dedicated the past 20 years to developing and increasing access to resources in Chicago communities on the south and westside. Lucy’s background in population health and social determinants of health helped implement various community health programs such as pediatric literacy, urban agriculture site, nutrition and physical activity within a network of community health centers. Lucy enjoys reading, listening to podcasts and most of all spending time with her nephew Eli.
