
Dr. Herrera is the Medical Director, Lead Pediatrician, and Electronic Health Record Provider Champion for Esperanza Little Village. He has been instrumental in ensuring that children at Esperanza receive the vaccinations they need, and led Esperanza Little Village to receive recognition from the Illinois Department of Public Health for the highest vaccination rate among all Vaccines for Children participating clinics in the City of Chicago. Additionally, he has a special interest in providing care for asthma, eczema, and allergies. As a pediatrician, he believes in caring for families as a whole unit to ensure the healthy growth and development of children.
