Descripción: Hace casi dos décadas, el Centro de Salud Esperanza se formó como respuesta a la falta de atención de salud en el suroeste de Chicago. El centro se enfocó en el cuidado en español para apoyar así la comunidad Latinx, y adoptó un sistema de pago de cuotas para residentes menos pudientes. Desde entonces, Esperanza se ha expandido a cuatro ubicaciones, donde recibe a 30.000 pacientes, dividido por la mitad entre niños y adultos.
