Jessenia Garcia is a behavioral health counselor at our Brighton Park clinic. Before joining us, she worked as a Mental Health Clinical Practitioner at Heartland Alliance with unaccompanied children in their residential programs. There, she helped them adjust to the program while also providing care for their mental health needs. Jessenia completed her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice & Psychology at Lewis University before earning her Master’s in Counseling, specializing in Forensic Psychology, at Adler University. Our advocacy for mental health, and our commitment to the community, drew Jessenia to Esperanza. She is passionate about traveling, learning about different cultures and history, and keeping up with the political world. She likes to spend her free time with her two fur babies.
