Dr. Julio Pernia-Cuberos is a family medicine provider at our health center in Little Village. Prior to joining Esperanza, he completed his medical residency in New Jersey after moving to the US from Venezuela. As someone who is passionate about preventative medicine, the opportunity to provide high quality health care to vulnerable communities drew him to Esperanza. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, playing the piano, photography, and spending time with family.
