Lupe Quintana Salgado is a behavioral health counselor at our Esperanza Little Village clinic. Before joining us, she worked at Howard Brown Health as a Behavioral Health Provider working with the LGBTQ+ community, individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, and individuals with substance use disorders. She earned her Masters of Social Work at UIC Jane Addams College of Social Work in 2019. As a Little Village native, Lupe was drawn to Esperanza to help her community receive quality behavioral health services. Lupe is passionate about LGBTQ+ and HIV Care, substance use disorders, solution-focused therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). In her free time, she enjoys reading, dancing, watching Netflix documentaries, and spending time with family.
