Dr. Manuela Tejada Tobon earned her medical degree from Universidad CES in Medellín, Colombia. Before joining Esperanza Health Centers, she worked as a primary care physician in Colombia and later as a medical assistant in a dermatology practice in Chicago. She was drawn to Esperanza because of its commitment to serving underserved communities, particularly the Latino population, and its mission to provide high quality healthcare to those who need it most.
Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Tejada Tobon is passionate about lifestyle medicine and enjoys spending time outdoors. In her free time, she loves camping, hiking, traveling, and exploring new trails with her husband and their dog. She also enjoys discovering new restaurants and sharing meals with friends.
