Dr. Rubén D. Vega Pérez earned his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai after completing his undergraduate studies at Yale University. He also holds a Master of Public Health and is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting the health and well-being of the communities he serves.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Vega Pérez has a deep appreciation for the arts and literature. He is a regular patron of the New York Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, and Broadway, and recently began taking singing lessons. He also enjoys reading and writing poetry, attending spoken-word performances, and challenging himself with bar trivia nights or an evening of Jeopardy!, combining his love of learning with creativity and culture.
